At Bertolli Villas we strongly wanted to maintain the personality of our buildings. This allows all our guests to enjoy the typical warmth of ancient Tuscan farmhouses.
The ceilings showcase the restored but original composition of terracotta beams and bricks from past years. The same terracotta also occurs in the floors, very pleasing to the eye. Also splendid to the touch, warm to walk on even in the cold months.
Many details of the furnishings of the holiday villas are also the result of the restoration of antiques. Finishes in fine fabrics of the beds, the antique lamps that illuminate the rooms or the fireplaces in ancient stone are some examples.
There is no shortage of furniture from past centuries, confirming a strong search for tradition.
We do not give up on small grafts that improve the quality of the stay, such as the latest generation electrical systems. The bathrooms, with suspended sanitary ware that promote hygiene and make the bathrooms visually larger, are an example.
Classic garden
All the outdoor space of the villas has relaxation as its main objective. Here too, the traditional Tuscan aspect is not renounced, as well as a private swimming pool for each villa. In fact, there are valuable elements such as an ancient tub, mandolates and wrought iron railings.
Part of the villas is surrounded by a path where you can admire medicinal and aromatic plants typical of the Tuscan countryside.
The overall result is an extremely comfortable environment, unlike most modern accommodations. This creates a relaxing experience away from the daily rhythms typical of the 21st century.
